She received her education at St. Clements Catholic School in Somerville, Class of 1968, and earned her Nursing Degree from Salem Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1971. Patricia lived a full and happy life for 17 years after being diagnosed with metastatic cancer, thanks to exceptional medical care, the love and support of family and friends, and the joy of her two grandsons. Throughout her life Mary was entirely devoted to her husband, her children, and her grandchildren. In June, the Cambridge LGBT Commission presented her with a Recognition Award at their 24th Annual Pride Brunch. She will be deeply missed.
